The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) will host a Sustainable Empowerment Programme in Kano State on 28th April 2026, aimed at expanding access to clean and reliable energy solutions for households, particularly in rural and semi-urban communities.

The programme is designed to reduce dependence on traditional firewood, promote environmental sustainability, and stimulate local economic activities through the adoption of renewable energy technologies.

As part of NASENI’s commitment to delivering homegrown solutions, the initiative will also create awareness on the benefits of clean energy while empowering beneficiaries with technologies that improve livelihoods and productivity.

This intervention reflects NASENI’s focus on creation, collaboration, and commercialisation, and its broader mandate to deploy science and engineering solutions in direct service of the Nigerian people.
