NASENI Showcases Homegrown Technologies to Presidential Energy Adviser

The Special Adviser to the President on Energy, Olu Verheijen, visited National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure headquarters, where the agency showcased its growing portfolio of homegrown technologies and manufacturing capabilities aimed at solving local challenges.

During the visit, the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of NASENI, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, highlighted the agency’s commitment to transforming innovative ideas into practical products that improve lives and support Nigeria’s industrialisation agenda.

The presidential aide toured NASENI’s renewable energy and smart technology solutions and also visited the agency’s Centre of Excellence, regarded as one of Africa’s leading precision manufacturing hubs, where she witnessed efforts to scale the production of high-quality Nigerian-made products.

Halilu noted that the visit reflects a shared commitment between both offices to deepen industrialisation through local innovation, strategic partnerships, and effective execution.
