The Nigeria Immigration Service has announced immediate suspension of the service of Online Integrated Solution, the operator of Nigeria’s Visa Application Centres in the United States of America . This was contained in a statement signed by DCI Akinsola Akinlabi, Service Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Immigration Service Headquarters, Abuja.
The statement reads: “Nigeria Immigration Service hereby informs the general public, particularly prospective travelers and Nigerians residing in the United States of America who may require a visa to enter Nigeria, that effective from 1st July, 2026, the service of Online Integrated Solution (OIS SERVICES), the operator of Nigeria’s Visa
Application Centres in the United States of America has been suspended until further notice.
“Accordingly, all applicants seeking a Nigerian visa are required to submit their applications directly at the Embassy of Nigeria in Washington, D.C.,or at the Consulates General of Nigeria in New York and Atlanta.
“The Service further clarifies that this notice applies only to Visa application submissions at the Embassy and does not affect the e-Visa System. Applicants can continue to apply via https://www.evisa.immigration.gov.ng.
“The public should note that adequate measures have been put in place to ensure seamless submission, processing, and issuance of visas. In this regard, applicants are advised to monitor the official communication channels of the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Nigerian Mission in the United States for updates on visa application procedures.
“The Service appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all applicants and remains committed to providing efficient service delivery, ” it also added.
