The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has announced Monday, 21st September to Wednesday, 23rd September, 2026 as the dates for the conduct of the 2026 Directorate Level Promotion Examination (Local Leg) for eligible officers across the Federal Civil Service. This was contained in a statement signed by Ibraheem Zakariyya, anipr, Head, Press and Public Relations, For the Commission.
According to a Circular Ref. No. FC.6243/GOV/2026/VOL.II/27, dated 17th September, 2026 and signed by the Hon. Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Tunji Olaopa, the examination is scheduled to commence at 7:00 a.m. each day. The Circular further states that the examination will cover all Grade Levels, with candidates required to attend at the designated Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres indicated on their examination IDs.
The Commission therefore urges all accredited candidates to take note of the commencement date, examination days, time and designated venues, and to make adequate arrangements to participate in the exercise as scheduled. Permanent Secretaries, Accounting Officers and Chief Executive Officers of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) are also enjoined to bring the contents of the Circular to the attention of all concerned for compliance.
