The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, psc., on 20th March 2026, led a security patrol of mosques and other public places during Ramadan prayers. The on-the-spot visits were aimed at assessing and reinforcing security deployments at places of worship and recreational areas across the FCT. This was contained in a statement signed by SP. Josephine Adeh, Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Police Command, Abuja.
The statement further reads: “He warmly felicitates with all residents and visitors of the FCT during the Ramadan period and calls for continued peace, calm, and lawful conduct throughout the season.”
