The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General O O Nafiu, has issued an Eid-El-Fitr message to Corps Members and Staff of the Corps. This was contained in a statement signed by Caroline Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations. The statement reads: “Eid-el-Fitr represents a period of sacrifice, gratitude, peace, and compassion for others. These values align closely with the enduring ideals of the National Youth Service Corps. As we observe this significant occasion, I encourage you to consistently demonstrate these virtues in your daily conduct as committed members of the NYSC community.
“Let us remain steadfast in our commitment to national unity, selfless service, and mutual respect, regardless of our diverse backgrounds. Our collective efforts are essential for fostering a more peaceful, cohesive, and prosperous Nigeria.
