As part of the two-day Subnational AfCFTA engagement in Kano, the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of NASENI, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu led the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole and her team on a tour of the Gongoni factory.

Halilu described the visit as significant, noting that Gongoni played a key role in shaping his early entrepreneurial journey and strengthening his belief in Nigerian-built solutions.

He expressed satisfaction that the company continues to produce for both Nigeria and export markets across Africa.

The NASENI boss further highlighted Kano’s strategic role as a major hub for trade and exports, aligning with the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to expand intra-African commerce.
