Ambassador Eche Abu-Obe, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized Nigeria’s stance, calling on Sudanese authorities to take immediate action to prevent future attacks and ensure the safety and welfare of diplomatic staff and their families. “Nigeria urges all parties involved in the conflict to seek a peaceful and amicable resolution, aiming to restore normalcy to Sudan,” Ambassador Abu-Obe stated.
The attack on the UAE Ambassador’s residence is the latest incident in Sudan’s ongoing conflict, which has resulted in widespread instability and humanitarian concerns.
