The Secretary to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mrs. Rose Oriaran-Anthony has been conferred with the prestigious Award for Exceptional Leadership and Sincerity of Purpose by the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). This was contained in INEC Daily Bulletin Volume 2, No: 411 of November 28, 2025.
It reads: “The honour was bestowed upon her at the Institute’s Dinner and Awards Ceremony, held in Abuja on Thursday, 27th November 2025, to commemorate NIPR’s 35th-anniversary celebration.
“Mrs. Oriaran-Anthony, a distinguished personality and an esteemed Fellow of the Institute, was recognized for her unwavering commitment to professionalism, diligence, and ethical conduct in public service.
“The award underscores the significant contributions she has made, particularly within the electoral management body, where her leadership has ensured administrative integrity and seamless institutional operations.
“The NIPR, in celebrating its 35 years of promoting professionalism in Public Relations practice, used the occasion to acknowledge individuals whose careers exemplify the highest standards of integrity and effective leadership.
“The recognition of Mrs. Oriaran-Anthony, alongside other distinguished personalities, is a testament to the fact that dedication and sincerity remain cardinal virtues in Nigeria’s public sector.
“The award serves not only as a personal recognition for Mrs. Oriaran-Anthony’s stellar career but also as a positive reflection on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s commitment to excellent governance and transparency in its operations,”it also added. .
