The All Progressives Congress (APC) celebrates one of the founding members of our great Party and Delta State Commissioner for Finance, Chief Sir Fidelis Okenmor Chukuyenum Tilije, on the occasion of his 68th birthday anniversary. An accomplished banker and technocrat, Chief Tilije, is a graduate of the University of Lagos. He holds a master’s degree with specialisation in Corporate Finance and has undertaken advanced executive training at Harvard Business School and Oxford Business School, among other leading global institutions.
His distinguished career spans key roles in Nigeria’s financial sector, with membership and leadership across several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Bankers, the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.
Since joining the Delta State Executive Council under former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, and now serving under Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, he has been a strong driver of the administration’s M.O.R.E Agenda, advancing fiscal discipline, infrastructure development, and inclusive economic growth in Delta State.
The APC commends Chief Tilije’s integrity, excellence, and impactful service to Delta State, particularly the Ndokwa nation, and wishes him continued good health, longevity, and greater accomplishments.
