The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the reconstitution of its Central Coordination Committee for the 2026 National Convention, introducing adjustments to the committee’s leadership and membership. In the reshuffle, the former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari was appointed as the new Chairman while Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, who was initially named to head the Committee, was reassigned to serve as Treasurer.

The party said the changes were necessitated by zoning considerations and the need to ensure balanced representation across geopolitical interests.

According to the APC, the adjusted committee is expected to oversee and streamline preparations for the forthcoming National Convention, providing strategic coordination and administrative oversight for the exercise.

The party reaffirmed its commitment to an inclusive, transparent, and well-organised convention process that reflects internal democracy and national spread.
