The All Progressives Congress (APC) rejoices with Christians and all Nigerians, at home and in the diaspora, on the occasion of Easter. This was contained in a statement signed by Felix Morka, CON, National Publicity Secretary, All Progressives Congress (APC).
The statement reads: “Easter commemorates the resurrection of Christ and signifies the triumph of life over death, the power of light over darkness. It reflects God’s boundless love, mercy, forgiveness, redemption, and rekindled hope for new beginnings.
“As we mark this sacred occasion, our great Party urges Nigerians to embrace peace, love, and tolerance as one people united by a shared vision of a stronger and more prosperous nation.
“Easter also provides an occasion for reflection by political, religious, and temporal leaders and to rededicate themselves to the promotion of peace, harmony, national cohesion, and advancement of the common good of all Nigerians.
“It is our prayer that the Risen Christ fills our hearts with love, peace, understanding, and strength for our leaders and nation to triumph over our existential challenges and achieve lasting peace and prosperity.
“The APC wishes all Christians and Nigerians a wonderful Easter celebration filled with joy and divine blessings,” it also added.
