A member of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aare (Hon.) Tolu Bankole, has hailed the just-concluded national convention of the party as a model of organisation and unity, while pledging to deepen the inclusion of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in the party’s affairs.

Bankole described the convention as a benchmark in coordination, discipline, and effective management, noting that it reaffirmed the APC’s position as Nigeria’s leading political platform.

He expressed gratitude to party leaders and delegates for the renewed confidence in his leadership, assuring that greater efforts would be made to strengthen participation among PWDs.

He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he termed exemplary leadership in governance and party administration, adding that the President’s direction continues to stabilise and reposition the party for greater achievements.

The APC chieftain reserved special praise for the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, who chaired the convention’s venue sub-committee. He described the handling of the venue as “a masterclass in planning, execution, and attention to detail,” citing the seamless coordination and operational efficiency recorded throughout the event.

Aligning with the President’s remarks at the convention, Bankole noted that Abiodun’s commitment, including the funding and delivery of the venue setup, demonstrated exceptional organisational capacity. He added that the governor’s performance further reinforces his reputation as a top-tier planner and manager.

Bankole also applauded APC governors, members of the convention planning committees, national delegates, and party faithful for their contributions to the success of the exercise. He acknowledged the professionalism of engineers, organisers, ushers, and media personnel in ensuring a smooth and hitch-free event.

Congratulating newly elected party officials, he urged them to build on the gains of the convention and strengthen internal cohesion. He further called on party members nationwide to intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of upcoming elections.

The NWC member, however, stressed the importance of rancour-free primaries, noting that unity, transparency, and fairness must guide the party’s processes as it prepares for future contests. He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the interests of Persons With Disabilities, assuring that their voices will remain integral to the party’s growth and national development.
