The Operatives of the Anambra State Commissioner of Police (CP) Special Patrol, at about 5:00 p.m. today 16th December 2025, during an offensive security operation in Abagana, recovered one pump-action rifle, one locally fabricated single-barreled rifle, one ash Toyota highlander with reg nos: UWN 680 PE, suspected stolen cash amounting to Six Hundred and Thirty-Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Naira (₦636,700.00), and other incriminating items. This was contained in a statement signed by SP. Ikenga Tochukwu, Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command.
According to the statement, the recovery followed the abandonment of an operational vehicle by fleeing suspects after it was involved in an accident during a hot pursuit by the operatives.
