The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of physical screening and document verification for candidates participating in its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
The Board disclosed that applicants who sat for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 can access the official recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to confirm their status and determine whether they have been shortlisted for the next phase of the exercise.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Major General Abdulmalik Jibril (Rtd.), successful candidates will be required to upload their credentials and select their preferred screening date and venue through the recruitment portal.
The Board advised applicants to log in using the application number generated during their initial registration and carefully follow all instructions provided on the platform.
CDCFIB stressed that the recruitment process remains entirely free, warning applicants against making payments to individuals or groups claiming they can influence shortlisting, venue allocation, document uploads, screening access or final selection.
The Board also urged members of the public to disregard fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links and unauthorised persons purporting to represent the agency.
According to the statement, all official information regarding the recruitment exercise will be communicated exclusively through the CDCFIB recruitment portal and other approved channels.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent, credible and merit-based recruitment process in line with established guidelines and extant regulations.
CDCFIB is responsible for coordinating recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
