Chicken House Junction Incident: FCT Police Swift Response to Distress call led to the rescue and movement of victims to hospital

Following a distress call received from an unidentified caller in the early hours of today, 12th September 2025, about 2 persons seen lying in a pool of blood at Wuse 2, along Chicken House Junction. The operatives of the FCT Police Command swiftly mobilised to the scene to address the situation. This was contained in a statement signed by SP. Josephine Adeh, Anipr, Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Police Command, Abuja.

According to the statement, the police operatives, on getting to the scene, promptly rescued and rushed the victims who were still alive to the National Hospital for medical treatment. Members of the public who had gathered at the scene dispersed on sighting the police as no suspects were arrested.

It further stated, “While the Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Ajao S. Adewale, psc, mnips, has directed the Divisional Police Officer, Wuse Division, to conduct an extensive investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident, members of the public are advised to go about their lawful businesses.

“Further details will be communicated in due course,” it also added.
