The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced that Ethiopian Airways has finally paid the sanction fees imposed on the airline by it for consumer protection-related infractions earlier this year.

This was contained in a statement signed by Michael Achimigu, Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, NCAA.

According to the statement, by this, all three international airlines sanctioned by the Authority have fully paid.

“As always, these sanctions are intended to help improve the services of the operators and not to punish them.

“The NCAA remains committed to protecting the rights of all stakeholders,” it also added.
