The Ebonyi State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has paid a glowing tributes to the Minister of Works, Sen. Engr. David Umahi for his transformation of Ebonyi State from
underdeveloped to a shining model of infrastructural excellence, human capital development, and economic progress.

Simbad, poured encomium on the immediate past two-term Governor of the state, Engr. Sen. Umahi on the special occasion of his 62nd birthday celebration, describing him as astute transformative agent with passion for excellence.
APC remarked that Umahi has consistently demonstrated that purposeful leadership can transform lives and communities as his tenure as Governor witnessed unprecedented achievements.

“Born on July 25, 1963, in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, you have consistently demonstrated that purposeful leadership can transform lives and communities.
“Your tenure as Governor witnessed unprecedented achievements from the construction of over 1,000km of roads, 20 flyovers, the iconic Dr. Chuba Okadigbo Airport, and the world class David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences, to numerous other landmark projects that placed Ebonyi on the global map.
“Your rise to the position of Honourable Minister of Works is a testament to your engineering ingenuity and unwavering commitment to the development of Nigeria.
“The ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, among other national infrastructure initiatives, continues to reflect your passion for excellence and your belief in a Renewed Hope for Nigeria.
