The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has been honoured with the Energy Solution Government Agency of the Year Award by Energy Times, in recognition of its impactful initiatives, innovative solutions, and leadership in advancing science and engineering infrastructure in Nigeria.
The award was presented on April 17, 2026, at the Ijakadi Hall of the Radisson Blu Hotel Lagos Ikeja during a ceremony that brought together key stakeholders in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
The award was received on behalf of the Agency by the Director of Manufacturing Services, Engr. Dr. Olasupo Olayode Adesola, who conveyed the appreciation of the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, to the organizers for recognizing NASENI’s contributions to energy solutions in Nigeria.
The recognition highlights NASENI’s growing role in driving sustainable energy solutions across the country, including its interventions in solar irrigation systems, renewable energy technologies, and efforts to localize manufacturing.
The Agency reaffirmed its commitment to “accelerating Nigeria’s industrialisation through innovation, collaboration, and the commercialization of indigenous technologies.”
