The Federal Republic of Nigeria has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) in Türkiye, which resulted in five deaths and 22 injuries on October 23, 2024.
This was contained in a statement signed by Amb. Eche Abu-Obe, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the statement, Nigeria expressed solidarity with the people of Türkiye and denounced the act as one that spreads fear instead of peace.
The statement emphasized Nigeria’s commitment to combating terrorism and promoting peace and security globally.
This condemnation comes after a recent surge in terrorist attacks in Türkiye, including the Istanbul bombing on November 13, 2022, which killed six people and injured 81.
