The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has extended warm birthday congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th anniversary, describing him as a visionary leader driving Nigeria’s digital transformation.
In a goodwill message issued on Sunday, the agency, under the leadership of its Director-General, Kashifu Inuwa, commended the President’s steadfast commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly his focus on building a prosperous and inclusive digital economy that foster innovation, growth, and national development.
NITDA noted that under President Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria’s technology ecosystem has continued to gain momentum through policies and initiatives aimed at strengthening digital infrastructure, empowering young innovators, and promoting widespread digital inclusion across the country.
The agency emphasized that the administration’s forward-looking approach to technology and innovation is positioning Nigeria as a competitive player in the global digital space while creating opportunities for job creation and economic diversification.
Reaffirming its support, NITDA pledged to remain committed to implementing strategic programmes that align with the President’s vision of a digitally empowered nation.
