The Director General of the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA), Engineer Chukwuemeka Woke, has extended his heartfelt commendation to the Agency’s SERVICOM Unit as it marked the SERVICOM Week celebration. This was contained in a statement signed by Ronke Asagun, Media and Publicity Unit, NOSDRA.
Delivering his goodwill message at the event, Engineer Woke praised the SERVICOM team for their dedication to promoting efficiency, transparency, and accountability in service delivery.
He noted that the principles of SERVICOM remain vital to achieving NOSDRA’s vision of becoming a world-class regulatory agency in environmental management and oil spill response.
“Your unwavering commitment to excellence in service delivery continues to strengthen public confidence in NOSDRA’s operations, and let us all continue to uphold the SERVICOM ideals of fairness, transparency, and responsiveness in the discharge of our duties.” He said.
Engr. Woke described the SERVICOM Week celebration as an opportunity for reflection, knowledge sharing, and a renewed commitment to service excellence.
He further encouraged all staff to embrace a spirit of continuous improvement and uphold the Agency’s core values in their daily responsibilities.
Also, speaking at the event, the Director of Human Resources, Mrs. Lilian Iyamo commended the SERVICOM Unit for its consistent advocacy for improved service standards within the Agency. She emphasized the importance of teamwork, professional development, and staff welfare as key drivers of effective service delivery.
“The SERVICOM Week reminds us that every staff member is a vital link in the service chain,” Mrs. Iyamo said. “When we serve with empathy, integrity, and excellence, we not only meet expectations but exceed them. The Human Resources Department remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote productivity and employee satisfaction.”
The celebration featured a series of activities, including awareness sessions, interactive discussions, and presentations focused on enhancing public service delivery and strengthening institutional performance. The event concluded with a group photograph of the Director General, Directors, and members of the SERVICOM team.
