The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Engr. Nadungu Gagare, FNIAE FNSE, has urged all agencies under the Ministry to strengthen collaboration, align policies, and deepen understanding of operational realities, achievements, and challenges. This was contained in a statement signed by Stephen Kwande, Head, Media Relation Unit.

Engr. Gagare made this call during his maiden tour of agencies supervised by the Ministry, emphasising that the digital economy remains central to Nigeria’s national growth and global competitiveness.
“We must continue to work with greater synergy, innovation, professionalism, and accountability in delivering on our mandates,” he stated.

The Permanent Secretary highlighted the need for stronger inter-agency collaboration to achieve greater impact and avoid duplication of efforts.
He further charged staff to remain committed, disciplined, and innovative as they collectively advance the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda through technology-driven development and improved public service delivery.

Responding on behalf of NIGCOMSAT Ltd, the Managing Director/Chief Executive, Mrs. Jane Nkechi Egerton-Idehen, represented by the General Manager, Information Technology, Engr. Baba Alkali, expressed appreciation for the Permanent Secretary’s visit and continuous support.

Engr. Alkali noted that the tour was a great source of encouragement to the Management and staff of NIGCOMSAT Ltd.
