The Senate on Thursday screened Hajiya Amina Ibrahim Gamawa following her nomination as Commissioner of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), representing Bauchi State, by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

During the screening exercise, presided over by the Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on National Planning, Senator Augustine Akobundu, the nominee was accorded the privilege to “take a bow” in recognition of her distinguished record of service. The motion for her to take a bow was moved by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and seconded by Senator Sani Musa.

All three senators representing Bauchi State, Senator Abdul Ningi, Senator Shehu Buba, and Senator Sani Musa were present at the screening in a show of support.

Prior to her nomination, Hajiya Amina Gamawa is the Deputy Director, Administration (Presidential Liaison) of the All Progressives Congress, responsible for ensuring effective administrative coordination and maintaining a seamless liaison between the Party’s National Secretariat and the Presidency.
