The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), has informed the public that a maintenance outage has been scheduled on the Ikeja West/Ejigbo 132kV Transmission Line 1 at Ejigbo 132kV Transmission Substation on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This was contained in a statement signed by the Management of TCN.
The statement reads: “The outage is necessary to enable TCN’s maintenance crew carry out a routine maintenance on the Ikeja West/Ejigbo 132kV Transmission Line 1. The Ikeja West/Ejigbo 132kV Transmission Line 2 will also be taken out of service to provide a safe working space for the maintenance crew.
“Consequently, approximately 40MW of load is expected to be interrupted at Ejigbo Transmission Substation during the maintenance period. However, Airport load will be diverted to the Isolo Transmission line to minimise the impact of the outage.
“TCN apologises for any inconvenience caused to Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company customers affected during the maintenance period, ” it also added.
