In line with strengthening subnational security architecture, a high-powered delegation from Borno State, led by the State Governor, His Excellency, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, CON, was on Thursday, 10th April 2025, received by the Honourable Minister of Works, His Excellency, Sen. Engr. Nweze David Umahi, CON, FNSE, FNATE at the Ministry’s Headquarters, Mabushi, Abuja. This was contained in a statement signed by Hon. Barr. Orji Uchenna Orji, Special Adviser on Media to the Honourable Minister of Works.
The meeting, which was attended by the Governor himself, the Chief Whip of the Senate and Senator representing Borno North Senatorial District, Sen. Mohammed Tahir Monguno, the Senator representing Borno South Senatorial District, Sen. Mohammed Ali Ndume, the Honourable Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, Esq, and other National Assembly members from the State centrered on discussions on furthering the Renewed Hope road Infrastructure agenda in Borno State, the same being a measure that will enhance security in the State.
