CP FCT Commissions two Police Outposts Across the FCT Police Command, Lays Foundation for Another at the Pumpy Estate Lugbe

The Commissioner of Police, FCT Police Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, psc, on Wednesday, 11th March 2026, commissioned two newly constructed Police Outposts within the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ultra Modern Shopping Complex, Lugbe; the National Judicial Institute along Airport Road; and lays foundation for another at T-Pumpy state Lugbe Area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This was contained in a statement signed by SP. Josephine Adeh, Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Police Command, Abuja.

The outposts were constructed and donated to the FCT Police Command by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Judicial Institute and the Management of T-Pumpy Estate to enhance police visibility and strengthen grassroots policing within their respective communities.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremonies, the Commissioner of Police expressed profound appreciation to the donors for their support and partnership with the Nigeria Police Force in advancing community-based policing and improving security architecture within the FCT. He assured the donors and residents that the facilities would be effectively utilized to bolster security, improve response time to emergencies, and enhance the overall safety of residents and visitors within the affected areas.

CP Dantawaye further charged the officers deployed to the outposts to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and integrity in the discharge of their duties. He emphasized the need for officers to remain courteous and responsive to the needs of the public while fostering strong relationships with members of the communities they serve.
