The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, mnips, today, 27th August 2026, warmly felicitates with the Government and good people of Anambra State on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the creation of the State. The Commissioner describes the anniversary as a significant milestone in the history of Anambra, celebrating 35 years of resilience, enterprise, progress, and the collective contributions of Ndi Anambra to the growth and development of the State.
CP Nnanna commends Ndi Anambra for their resilience, hard work, community spirit, and continued support for initiatives aimed at promoting peace, security, and sustainable development. He particularly appreciates traditional rulers, religious leaders, community leaders, youths, women, civil society organisations, and other stakeholders for their partnership with the Nigeria Police Force in maintaining peace and security across the State.
The Commissioner reassures Ndi Anambra of the Command’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property, maintaining public safety, and providing professional, responsive, and people-oriented policing services. He urges residents to remain law-abiding, vigilant, and supportive of security agencies, stressing that sustainable peace and security remain a collective responsibility.
While wishing Ndi Anambra a joyous 35th Anniversary celebration, CP Nnanna calls on all citizens and residents to continue working together in unity and harmony towards a safer, more peaceful, and prosperous Anambra State.
