The Nigerian government has congratulated the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on the occasion of its National Day.
Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, sent the felicitation to his counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, His Excellency, Dr. Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk, on behalf of the government.
This was contained in a statement signed by the acting spokesperson, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Ebienfa.
According to the statement, Ambassador Tuggar said, “it is a great honour to extend our warmest wishes to you, the government, and the people of Mauritania on the auspicious occasion of your National Day.
“We note with great satisfaction the excellent relations between our two countries and the efforts we are making to build on these firm foundations for the benefit of our peoples,”he added.
