The Anambra State Police Command today 15th March 2026 is currently holding an intensive closed door security meeting at the Command Headquarters involving all Tactical Commanders, Commanders of the Police-led Joint Security Team, and other senior officers directly involved in the operational planning for the forthcoming second term inauguration of the Anambra State Government. This was contained in a statement signed by SP. Ikenga Tochukwu, Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command.

The meeting focuses on reviewing and fine-tuning the operational strategies outlined in the Police Operation Order to ensure adequate security coverage before, during, and after the inauguration ceremony.

The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc minps Phd charged the officers to maintain maximum vigilance, strengthen inter-agency collaboration, and ensure a peaceful and secure environment for residents, dignitaries, and visitors expected to attend the event.
