The Honourable Minister of Defence H. E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar CON, mni, attended the opening day of the Dubai Airshow 2025, alongside Air Vice Marshal AY Abdullahi, the representative of the Chief of the Air Staff. This was contained in a statement signed by Mati Ali, PA (Media and Publicity), to the Honourable Minister of Defence.

The event was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Emir of Dubai and Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.

At the opening ceremony, Minister Badaru led the Nigerian delegation in a tour of key facilities and display stands representing notable leaders in aerospace manufacturing.

The Dubai Airshow serves as a premier global platform for the aerospace, space, and defence industries to foster business growth, showcase innovative technologies, and encourage international collaboration. This biennial event is recognized as one of the world’s leading airshows, connecting political leaders, innovators, and officials from various governments.
