The Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, FNIPR, has felicitated Nigeria Muslims on the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations urging tolerance and peaceful coexistence. This was contained in a press statement signed by the Honourable Minister.
The statement reads: “Eid Mubarak, Nigerians
“On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, I warmly congratulate all Muslim faithful in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
“This sacred festival reminds us of the timeless virtues of faith, sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and devotion to the will of Almighty Allah, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It is a season that calls for reflection, unity, tolerance, and renewed commitment to the values that bind us together as one nation.
“As Nigerians celebrate with their families and loved ones, I urge citizens to continue to pray for the peace, stability, and progress of our dear country. The administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, remains committed to delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda and building a more secure, prosperous, and inclusive Nigeria for all.
“I also encourage Nigerians to use this period to extend love and support to the less privileged, promote peaceful coexistence, and strengthen the spirit of national unity, irrespective of ethnic, religious, or political differences.
