The Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Muhammed Bello Matawalle, MON, has felicitated Nigerian Muslims faithful and all Nigerians on the celebration of 2026 Eid ul Adha. This was contained in an Eid-El-Adha message signed by the Honourable Minister.
The message reads: “I extend my warm felicitations to Muslim faithfuls and all Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Eid El-Adha celebration.
“Eid-El-Adha reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice, patience, unity, and devotion to Almighty Allah. As we celebrate, I urge Nigerians to continue promoting peace, tolerance, and mutual understanding for the progress of our country.
“I wish to assure Nigerians of my continued commitment, alongside the Armed Forces and other security agencies, to protecting the territorial integrity of Nigeria in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
“I salute the courage and dedication of our troops who continue to make sacrifices in defence of our nation and its people.
“May Allah continue to bless Nigeria with peace, security, and prosperity, ” it also added.
