The Honourable Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, Esq., has hailed North-West youths as the driving force behind the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s victory in the 2023 presidential election, describing them as the vanguard of the Renewed Hope Agenda. This was contained in a statement signed by Abdullahi Mohammed, SA Media to the Honourable Minister of State for Works.

Speaking at the Meet and Greet of the PCC North-West Youth Mobilization 2023, held on 20th Tuesday, 2026, Rt. Hon. Goronyo commended members of the North-West Youth Mobilization Directorate for their dedication, resilience, and strategic grassroots engagement during the 2023 campaign.

Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who served as Director of National Youth Mobilization for the North-West Zone during the electioneering period, noted that the zone emerged as the highest contributor to the APC’s victory, delivering 2,652,235 votes, representing about 30 percent of the total votes secured nationwide by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“This was not an accident. It was the outcome of tireless mobilisation, strategic planning, and an unshakable belief in the Asiwaju/Shettima ticket as the right choice for Nigeria,” the Minister said.

He emphasized that the success of the 2023 elections marked only the beginning of a longer journey, urging youths to remain united, vigilant, and committed as the party builds momentum toward Renewed Hope 2027.

The Minister highlighted the Tinubu administration’s focus on infrastructure renewal and economic transformation, stressing that sustained youth engagement remains critical to bridging government policies with grassroots realities.

Rt. Hon. Goronyo also called on youths across the North-West to register with the APC and take ownership of the party’s future, describing young people as the “heartbeat of the party.”

He expressed gratitude to the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, members of the Federal Executive Council, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, zonal youth directors, and other distinguished guests for their continued support of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Minister reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and President Tinubu, pledging sustained commitment to delivering infrastructure projects that reflect the administration’s Promise Kept Mantra.
