Goronyo Pays Courtesy Visit to Minister of Defence

The Honourable Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, Esq., on Tuesday, 20th January 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), at his office in Abuja. This was contained in a statement signed by Abdullahi Mohammed, SA Media, to the Honourable Minister of State for Works.

The visit was aimed at strengthening inter-ministerial collaboration and fostering mutual understanding between the Ministry of Works and the Ministry of Defence in areas of national interest, particularly infrastructure development and security-related projects.

During the meeting, Rt. Hon. Goronyo commended the Honourable Minister of Defence for his unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s territorial integrity and ensuring peace and stability across the country.

He emphasized the importance of synergy among critical ministries in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.

In his response, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd.) appreciated the visit and reaffirmed the Ministry of Defence’s readiness to collaborate with the Ministry of Works to support infrastructure development that enhances national security and economic growth.

As a highlight of the courtesy call, the Honourable Minister of Defence presented a gift to the Honourable Minister of State for Works as a gesture of goodwill and mutual respect.
