The Director General of the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA), Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke has paid a condolence visit to the Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas Lawal, in Zaria, Kaduna State, over the death of his mother.

Engr. Woke was accompanied by some Directors from the Agency who joined him in expressing sympathy and solidarity with the Minister and his family during this period of mourning.

While commiserating with the Minister, the NOSDRA boss described the late matriarch as a woman of virtue and deep faith who lived an exemplary life of service to God and humanity.

He noted that her passing was a great loss not only to her family but also to the community she positively influenced through her compassion and integrity.

Engr. Woke prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and for God to grant the Minister and his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The visit reaffirmed the Agency’s bond of respect and support for the Minister and the leadership of the Environment sector.
