The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) informed the public that its maintenance crew will carry out scheduled maintenance on its 150MVA power transformer 2 and associated switchgear at the Katampe 330/132/33kV Transmission Substation, on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 9am to 4pm. This was contained in a statement signed by the Management of TCN.
The statement reads: “Consequently, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to off-take electricity for onward supply to customers in Kubwa PW, Dutse Makaranta, Ushafa, Jere, Jiwa, parts of Suleja, Kaduna Road, Sabon Wuse, Dikko, Zuba, Madalla, Dakwa, Tugan Maje, and environs for six hours only.
“TCN apologises for any inconvenience this will cause electricity customers in the affected areas, ” it also added.
