TCN Restores Power to Aba-Itu 132kV Transmission Line

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has informed the public that power supply has been restored through Aba-Itu 132kV Transmission Line after the completion of work on a conductor at about 7:02 pm. This was contained in a statement signed by the Management of TCN.

The statement reads: “The incident which led to a temporary interruption of supply today from 10:38 am to 7:02 pm was to enable TCN crew amend red phase cut jumper conductor on Tower 142.

“Consequently, Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC) can now off-take electricity for supply to its customers in Uyo, Eket, Ekim and Itu, previously affected by the incident.

“TCN apologies for the inconveniences experienced by the affected areas during this outage, ” it also added.
