Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have continued to intensify offensive operations against Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists, conducting a successful clearance patrol under the ongoing Operation Desert Sanity V in the North-East.

Following the clearance mission, the troops occupied a tactical ambush position along a suspected terrorist infiltration route to monitor movement and prevent insurgents from returning to the area.

Military sources described the operation as hitch-free, noting that personnel maintained a high level of vigilance throughout the mission to deny terrorists freedom of movement.

The operation is part of the military’s sustained efforts under Operation Desert Sanity V to keep pressure on Boko Haram and ISWAP elements, prevent the reoccupation of previously cleared locations, and create a secure environment for communities to resume their normal socio-economic activities.

Sources further disclosed that the security situation in the area remained calm but fluid, while the morale and combat readiness of the troops were reported to be high, reflecting their continued commitment to restoring lasting peace and stability across the North-East.
